Woodrow Rugg Dies Last Night In Car Accident In Texas

Woodrow Rugg, 26, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Rugg, 1816 Chestnut street, and an employe of the Humble Oil Refining Company at Baytown, Tex. was fatally injured last night in an automobile accident near Nacogdoches, Tex. Mr. Rugg was enroute to Pine Bluff for a visit with his parents.

Mr. Rugg, known to his many friends as ``Woodie,'' was born in Lufkin, Tex., but spend most of his life here. He attended the local schools until his senior year, when he went to Lufkin and graduated from Lufkin high school.

He was one of 10 Pine Bluff men to receive his Civitan Pilot license here several months ago and was also well known in archery circles of the city.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Miss Martha Sue Rugg, and other relatives.

Funeral services and burial will be held Thursday afternoon in Lufkin, Tex.
