Woodrow L. Rolen
Funeral services for Woodrow L. Rolen, 65, of Cotton Valley, formerly of Winnsboro, were held Aug. 1 at Unity Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
Interment was in Cotton Valley Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. The Rev. J. E. Tipton and the Rev. Mike Holloway officiated.
He was a veteran of World War II and a heavy equipment operator for 30 years. He died July 30, 1986, following a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Warlick Rolen, Cotton Valley; one son, Wade Rolen, Minden; and one daughter, Judy Rolen Brown, Shreveport; four grandchildren; three brothers, Marshel Rolen, Denver, Colo., Henry and Douglas Rolen, Winnsboro; three sisters, Dorothy Antley, Pineville, Esther Halley, Monroe, and Ruth Ingram; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Deacons of the Unity Baptist Church served as pallbearers.
