Woodrow A. Adams

RUSTON -- Woodrow A. Adams, 65, of Winnfield died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Adams was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the First Baptist Church, Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Adams of Winnfield; two sons, Conley Adams and David Adams, both of Winnfield; two daughters, Janice Williams and Madonna Hanson, both of Winnfield; four brothers, Marshall Adams of Sikes, Leroy Adams of Shreveport, Troy Adams of Dodson and Willie Adams of Jonesboro; three sisters, Coralee Jeter and Levenia Thompson, both of Shreveport, and Marcille Powell of Killen, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern, Winnfield, with the Revs. Glen Griffin and Gary Carter officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
