Woodrow Foshee

DERIDDER -- Funeral services for Woodrow Foshee, 84, of DeRidder, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Perry Miers and Wayne Pounders will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cypress Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-10 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mr. Foshee died Sunday, June 22, 2003, in Westwood Manor Nursing Center. He was a native of Rosepine and had lived in the DeRidder area most of his life. He retired after 30 years with Sabine Towing & Transportation Co. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Jimma Lea Foshee of DeRidder; one son, Charles Wayne Foshee of Friendswood, Texas; three daughters, Sandi Suire and Wanda Salusbury, both of DeRidder, and Juanita Birchfield of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one sister, Beulah Harriman of Rosepine; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
