WOODROW MCCARTY

Woodrow McCarty, 82, of Center, died June 1, 2002 at his home. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Born July 27, 1919 in Angelina County, he was the son of William Reed and Lillie Wier McCarty. He is preceded in death by his wife Dixie McCarty.

Mr. McCarty is survived by his daughters Wanda Bennett of Hillsboro, Texas and Suzanne Gates of Jonesboro, Louisiana; son Woodie McCarty of Panama City Beach, Florida.
