Yancy Hatten

Services for Yancy Hatten were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Riser and Son with Dr. Carlton Winberry officiating. Burial was in Beech Creek Cemetery, Olla.

Hatten, 81, of Olla died Thursday, April 20, 1989 in his residence.

He was a native of Winn Parish, a retired school buss driver and retired farmer. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Dunn Hatten of Olla; one son, Archie A. Hatten of Calhoun; five daughters, Venita Allbritton of Tullos, Marsha Emmons of Sterlington, Jean Jacobs of Jacksonville, Fla., Ann Winbery of New Orleans, and Dot Jones of Palm Springs, Calif.; four brothers, Ray Hatten of Grayson, Randolph Hatten of Mansfield, Harvey Hatten of Baltimore, Md., and O'Neal Hatten of Olla; three sisters, Evie Sterns, Estelle Taylor, and Lessie Dearmon, all of Olla; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
