Mrs. C.O. Meredith

JENNINGS, La. -- Funeral services for Mrs. C. O. Meredith, 50, of 217 W. Plaquemine, Jennings, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Baylot, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mrs. Meredith died at 4 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the former Zora Langley, a native of Lake Arthur, member of the First Baptist Church and was formerly employed at West Bros. Department Store.

Survivors include her husband of Jennings; one daughter, Mrs. James Hanvy of Jennings; two sons, Fredrick Paul Meredith of Lucedale, Miss. and David Bryan Meredith of Jennings; two sisters, Mrs. Brice Belk of Pittsburg, Tex. and Mrs. Bobby Ardoin of Jennings; four brothers, Charles Langley of Jennings, Leon Langley of Rayne, Holland Langley of West Lake and Leo Langley of Lake Charles and two grandchildren.
