The home was prettily decorated for this occasion and the ceremony was very impressive. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Albert Dejean, and Mrs. James Saizan and Miss Marie Meginley [sic McGinley] sang during the ceremony. The many friends of the couple were royally entertained, and many pretty and useful gifts were received by the couple for their new home, in Opelousas. They left on the Gulf Coast for New Orleans, on a bridal trip.
