Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Banks of Greenville
announce the engagement and approaching
marriage of their daughter, Deborah Lavern,
to Alan Charles Wolking, son of Clarence Charles
Wolking, also of Greenville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of
Mrs. Beulah Ferguson and the late
Albert H. Ferguson and of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Edward R. Banks. She is a
graduate of Greenville High School and is
a telephone operator for South Central Bell System.
The groom elect graduated from
Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla.,
and is employed by WGVM radio station.
The wedding will be solemnized Dec. 1
at the First United Methodist Church.
Friends are relatives are invited.
