Flippen-Rivet

The marriage of Mrs. Hazel Rivet to James Donald Flippen was solemnized in the home of the Rev. John Caylor, pastor of Highland Baptist church, Thursday, March 24, at eight o'clock in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Haren witnessed the ceremony.

Mrs. Flippen formerly was Miss Hazel Buce, daughter of Mayor and Mrs. R. W. Buce of Winnfield. She is connected with the Morris-Dickson stores and is located at the Centenary Drug store.

Mr. Flippen is connected with the Magnolia Petroleum company of this city. His parents reside in Winona, Mississippi.

The young couple will make their home at 3001 Highland avenue.
