Stogisdill-Carroll Marriage
Miss Mae Carroll, daughter of Mrs. Grace Lee Carroll of Dallas, and Percy Stogisdill [sic Stogsdill] of Duncan, Ok., were married at the home of Mrs. Caroline F. Hiegert, 4411 Holland, with the Rev. Homer L. Marler officiating. The bride wore a navy blue traveling suit with navy blue accessories and a corsage of lilies of the valley. Miss Josephine Poirer, bridesmaid, wore navy blue and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. W. D. Jasper sang ``I Love You Truly.'' Louis Chamberlin was groomsman. After the marriage a reception was held. Palms and fern decorated the rooms. The table was covered with a linen spread and lilies of the valley. Refreshments were served, Mrs. Carroll, mother of the bride, presiding at the cake and Mrs. C. W. Hodde at the punch bowl.
After the wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Stogisdill [sic Stogsdill] will be at home in Duncan.
