Geraldine Carter's Marriage To James Johnson Announced

Mrs. Mary A. Carter entertained with a luncheon in the Century Room Saturday to announce the marriage of her daughter, Miss Geraldine Carter, to James Harlan Johnson.

The table had places marked for thirteen guests. The centerpiece was a crystal basket filled with blue daisies and yellow daffodils, carrying out the bride-elect's chosen colors. Inscribed on blue and yellow satin streamers were the names of the couple. The streamers were attached to a satin pillow bearing double wedding bands.

Satin streamers on the basket handle terminated at place cards of miniature ring-bearers holding tiny pillows with wedding bands.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were married Nov. 5 at the Lakewood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Luther Holcomb officiating.

Mrs. Johnson is at the home of her mother, 4831 Worth. Her husband has been called to active duty in Korea. He is serving with the 5th Regimental Combat team attached to the 24th Infantry Division.
