Ceremony Performed At Home of Minister, The Rev. Wooten

Coming as a surprise to their friends is the marriage of Miss Melba Joanne Corley and Glenn Mullenix which was solemnized in Lufkin, Texas, at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. Wooten, pastor of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Mullenix is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. T. Corley, 1900 Stilwell boulevard, Mr. Mullenix is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Mullenix, 614 Eighth street.

Honoring the bride her sister, Mrs. W. E. Matthews, and Mrs. E. T. Corley entertained at the latter's home, 1900 Stilwell boulevard, Thursday with a shower.

White roses decorated the home for the occasion and a color theme of blue and white was displayed in party accessories. Games and contests were enjoyed with a prize going to Mrs. Otis Lee.
