Miss Cundiff, J. D. Griffin Are Married

Kessler Park Baptist Church was the setting Saturday night for the marriage of Miss Jerry Lillian Cundiff to James Donald Griffin, the Rev. James Bass officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. M. L. Landess of Hamilton and J. A. Cundiff, 4408 Westside. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Mary A. Griffin, 1008 Hampton Road.

Mrs. C. C. Hensley and R. L. Davis presented music for the wedding. Mr. Cundiff gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a waltz-length gown of Chantilly lace and tulle and an illusion veil caught to a lace contour crown. She carried a white orchid bouquet on a white prayer book.

Mrs. L. B. Flemmons Jr. of Corpus Christi was her sister's matron of honor. Miss Hallye Johnson and Miss Johnetta Palmer were bridesmaids. Miss Judy Prestridge and Miss Jerry Lynn Flemmons, nieces of the couple, lighted candles.

James W. Thomas was best man. W. E. Cotton Jr. and William B. Baxter of Richardson were groomsmen. G. E. Bagwell Jr. ushered.

A reception was held in the church banquet room. The house party included Mmes. Fran Burt, W. A. Dumas, G. E. Bagwell, Thomas, George Pollard Jr. and Miss Sylvia Green.

The newlyweds will reside at 3128 Kings Road after a wedding trip to New Orleans, La.

The bridegroom is a former student of North Texas State College where he belonged to Pi Phi Pi fraternity.
