June Durgin Is Married To Lt. I. T. Corley

Wedding Ceremony Takes Place in Washington, D. C.

The marriage of June Lorraine Durgin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Durgin of Lynn, Mass., to Lt. Ivy T. Corley, son of I. T. Corley, 1900 Stilwell boulevard, took place in Washington, D. C., at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. H. Emmons, pastor of the First Baptist Church.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown with which she wore a fingertip veil of illusion adjusted with a coronet. She carried an arm cluster of gardenias and baby breath.

Her only attendant was WAVE Irene Pillsbury of Danvers, Mass.

Warrant officer Eddy Maxwell of Maryland served as best man.

Lt. and Mrs. Corley are to reside at Camp Butner, N. C., where he is stationed with the Army engineers. Mrs. Corley, a graduate of Peabody high school, was employed at Syvlania Electric company in Peabody, Mass., prior to her marriage. Lt. Corley was reared and educated here and after finishing Thomas Jefferson high school was employed at the Texas Company. He enlisted in 1940 and assisted with the construction of the Alaskan highway.
