To Be Feted On Sunday
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Tully of Groves will be honored Sunday afternoon with a courtesy in their home, 6333 32nd street. The occasion will mark their 40th wedding anniversary and calling hours will be from 2 to 5 o'clock.
The couple married in Sabine Pass in February of 1927 and have resided in the Golden Triangle area all their married life. Mrs. Tully, daughter of longtime residents, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Fawvor, is a native of Louisiana as is her husband. Mr. Tully is a retired county employee of Precinct 2. Both are active members of the Friendship Baptist church of Groves.
Sunday's courtesy is being given by their daughter, Evelyn Tully, a teacher in the Port Neches independent school district. Co-hostesses will be Mrs. L. C. Wenner of Beaumont, Mrs. Evelyn Wilbanks of Nederland and Mrs. Jack Tully of Orange.
Invitations to friends and relatives are extended only through the press, a family spokesman said.
