Walters to Live Here

An apartment in Oakland will be occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walter Jr., when they return from their honeymoon at a dude ranch near Piercy on the Redwood Highway. Their marriage took place in Laurel Methodist Church October 14.

Given in marriage by her father, Gilbert Eustace Foy, the bride, who was Helen Foy (Polly to her closest friends), wore a dress of white taffeta with bouffant skirt effect. She donned a fingertip wedding veil held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms. White begonias, bouvardia and gardenias tied with white satin bows were carried by the bride.

Miss Mary Elizabeth Foy, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Jean Case of Pasadena and Miss Margaret Wahl of Aliadena.

Rose brocade was worn by the honor attendant, pale green and peach taffeta by the other two attendants. All carried old-fashioned bouquets of shaded begonias tied with satin streamers.

The bride's mother wore navy blue with white orchids and the mother of the bridegroom wore a print dress with royal purple accessories and orchids.

Mrs. E. A. Walters, grandmother of the bride [sic bridegroom] wore black velvet with white accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias.

The reception took place in the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph D. Walter [sic Walters] on Dakota Street.

A black and white check with black accessories and a corsage of gardenias and bouvardia was worn by the bride when she departed on her honeymoon.
