Their Ruston friends will regret the ill luck which has come to Mr. and Mrs. William R. Leckie, former Ruston young people, who have had the misfortune to have their home and all their household belongings in Shreveport, destroyed by fire. The apartment in which Mr. and Mrs. Leckie had their residence, was occupied by several families and few of them saved anything, barely getting out with their lives. Mr. and Mrs. Leckie are now located with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McConothy. Mrs. Leckie is remembered in Ruston as Miss Martha Grambling.
