Graves, Sanders to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Julian David Graves of Tunica, Miss. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Conner Graves, to Christopher Hale Sanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hale Sanders of Marietta, Ga.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Mr. and Mrs. John Conner of Brandon, Miss. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Buck Graves of Sarah, Miss.

Katy is a graduate of Tunica Institute of Learning. She attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford before transferring to George State University in Atlanta, where she is pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree in Art Education.

Grandparents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Warren Martin and the late Ruth Martin of Seneca, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hale Sanders Sr. of Atlanta, Ga.

Chris is a graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga. He received a bachelor of arts degree in religion from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. and a master's degree in Forest Resources with a graduate certificate in Geographical Information systems from the University of Georgia in Athens. He is employed by Geo Fields, Inc., where he is a senior product specialist.

The couple will exchange vows at four o'clock in the afternoon on Nov. 3, 2007 at Tunica Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow at The RiverPark.

In December, the couple will travel to St. Johns in the U.S. Virgin Islands as well as the British Virgin Islands. They plan to reside in Charleston, Ga.
