OSU Students Plan Wedding

TIPTON (Special) -- Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Hanes, Tipton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Kay, to Kent Nelson Elsener, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Elsener, Tipton.

The double-ring wedding ceremony will be an event of Saturday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tipton Church of Christ. Mr. James Dee Taylor, Burkburnett, Tex., will officiate at the ceremony.

The bride-elect is a 1971 graduate of Tipton High School where she was a member of the Honor Society, was Future Farmers of America queen and football princess. She is presently a freshman at Oklahoma State University, where she is majoring in architecture.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1969 graduate of Tipton High School where he was co-captain of the football team, a member of the basketball team, president of Future Farmers of America and a member of the Honor Society. He is attending OSU where he is majoring in organizational analysis and is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
