TIPTON (Special) -- Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Hanes, Manitou, announce the engagement of their daughter, Susie Lynn, to John Steven McCormack, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. McCormack, Tipton.

The double-ring wedding ceremony will be solemnized at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, in the Tipton Church of Christ.

The bride-elect is a 1970 graduate of Tipton High School. She attended Abilene Christian College, Abilene, Tex., majoring in home economics. She was a member of the Ko Jo Kai social club.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1970 graduate of Tipton High School and attended Oklahoma Christian College, Oklahoma City, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Tau. He majored in physical education. McCormack is presently employed by the City of Austin, Tex.
