Miss Harris was gowned in orchid taffeta also trimmed with lace. Miss Cullom wore a dress of orchid chiffon trimmed in crystal beads. Each bridesmaid carried a basket of pink roses.

The bride entered with the bridegroom. She wore a travelling dress of dark blue Poiret twill, an imported model, with gray velvet hat and accessories to harmonize. Her flowers were a corsage bouquet of bride's roses and lillies of the valley.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held. Misses Lorena Ledbetter and Dorothy Brown presided at the punch bowl. Miss Mabel Hawthorne, sister of the bride, and Mrs. H. V. Bennett, had charge of the bride's cake.
