Dorothy Hiegert Exchanges Vows With Lieut. T. J. Rall
Bride Wears White Marquisette Gown With Long, Full Sleeves, Full Bodice
Miss Dorothy Wauneta Hiegert, daughter of Mrs. Caroline F. Hiegert and William C. Hiegert of Dallas, and Lieut. Theodore Joseph Rall Jr. of Stockton Field, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore J. Rall of Dallas, were married Tuesday evening at St. Mary's Cathedral at Stockton Field, Calif.
The bride wore a white marquisette gown designed with long, full sleeves with lace cuffs and a full bodice with lace yoke and lace banding at the waist. Her shoulder-length veil of bridal illusion fell from two white orchids in her hair. She carried a white Bible topped with white orchids and a shower of white satin ribbons. Her jewelry was an antique necklace, a gift of the bridegroom's family.
Miss Ellen Virginia Yates, maid of honor, wore a blue marquisette gown fashioned like that of the bride. She wore a small blue ruffled hat topped by two gardenias and carried a gardenia bouquet.
Lieut. George W. Hynes Jr. of Stockton Field, Calif., and formerly of San Antonio, was best man.
For the wedding trip to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, the bride wore a suit of navy faille and white accessories with a gardenia corsage. Mrs. Rall attended North Dallas High School, SMU and the Dallas Art Institute. Lieutenant Rall attended North Dallas High School, SMU and Texas A. & M. College.
Lieutenant Rall received his commission of Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Corps from Stockton Field on July 11 and will be stationed as an instructor at Bakersfield, Calif.
Dallasites attending the wedding were Mrs. Hiegert, the bride's mother; Miss Yates, Mrs. C. W. Hodde, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore J. Rall, parents of the bridegroom; Miss Cordel Rall and Miss Freda Rall.
Mrs. Hiegert, Miss Yates and Mrs. Hodde will return to Dallas after visiting in Salt Lake City, Denver and in Green Mount Falls, Colo.
