CLEARWATER, LA.
Miss Mary Johnson, one of the very pretty and popular girls of Clearwater, was married Saturday, May 11th, 1918, to Mr. Clarence Emmons of Lone Pine, La. They were married at the court house in Alexandria, La., Judge L. L. Hooe performing the ceremony. The bride was very beautifully attired in a navy blue dress of taffeta and georgette crepe. Those present at the wedding were: Mrs. Sarah Casey and Miss Florence Carpenter of Clearwater, grandmother and cousin of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Will Cannon and Miss Bertha Emmons of Lone Pine, relatives of the groom; also Mrs. Blankenship of Lecompte, La., Mr. Robert Schrock of Loyd, La., Mr. Eugene Burnum and Mrs. Nettie Singley of Clearwater. Mr. and Mrs. Emmons have a host of friends and relatives that wish them a happy and prosperous married life.
