Miss Kontney To Wed Melvin Cody June 18

An announcement of interest to their many friends throughout northeast Louisiana was that of the approaching marriage of Miss Dorothy Dawn Kontney of Monroe to Mr. Melvin O. Cody of Clarks, La. The young couple will be married at Miss Kontney's home, 805 Thomas street.

Miss Kontney is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Kontney and the late J. B. Kontney. She is employed in the bookkeeping department of the News-Star-World. Mr. Cody, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle M. Cody of Clarks, is a student at Louisiana State University.
