Lacey -- McIntosh

A pretty home wedding was that of Miss Annie Lacey and Horace McIntosh, soleminized at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, December 26, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Lacey, in Maylene.

The vows were spoken before an altar arranged in the living room with ferns, poinsettias and American Beauty roses. The ceremony was read by Rev. Chastain of Montevallo, Pastor of the Baptist Church, the impressive ring ceremony being used.

Preceding the ceremony a beautiful program of nuptial music was rendered by Miss Lovella McIntosh, sister of the groom, who also played the wedding march. McDowell's ``To A Wild Rose'' was softly played during the ceremony.

The bride entered with the groom. She was lovely in a frock of blue georgette with velvet drapes, with hat and shoes harmonizing. She carried an arm bouquet of bride's roses and valley lilies. Miss Esther Lacey, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, wearing a dress of blue crepe romaine and carried red roses.

R. O. Stanley served the bridegroom as best man.

An informal reception followed the ceremony with only relatives and immediate friends of the family being present.

After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home in Boothton where the groom holds a responsible position with the Southern Coal and Coke Co.
