LeBlanc and Hauser wed in New Iberia ceremony
St. Peter's Catholic Church was the site of the July 26, 2008, 2:00 p.m. wedding uniting Ashley Joan LeBlanc and Allan Beuron Hauser. Father Charles Langlois officiated the ceremony.
Ashley is the daughter of Mary Ellen Carabine of New Iberia and Carroll E. LeBlanc of Erath. She is the granddaughter of E. J. and Gloria LeBlanc of Erath and the late Claude and the late Alix Leleaux of Delcambre. She was escorted down the aisle by her father, Carroll E. LeBlanc.
Allan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray A. Hauser of DeRidder. He is the grandson of the late Albert and the late Chrystal Hauser and the late J. B. Payne and Ollie Payne of DeRidder.
The bride wore a strapless, trumpet style diamond white, French taffeta gown. The gown was decorated with needle work. The veil was simple lace attached at the base of the bride's hair. The bride carried a bouquet of red and white roses accented by hydrangea buds.
Serving as Matron of Honor was Lauren Grundy, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Ivery, friend of the bride; Shaina LeBlanc, sister of the bride; and Lori Toups, friend of the bride. They wore claret gowns which were taffeta two pieces. They carried bouquets of red, white, and pink roses accented with hydrangea buds. Flower girls were Nikki LeBlanc and Cami Touchet.
Ray Hauser, father of the groom, was the Best Man. Groomsmen for the wedding included Edwin Grundy, a friend; Paul Hauser, cousin, and Joseph Penney, a friend.
Ushers were Kipp LeBlanc, brother of the bride, and David McDonald, friend of the groom.
Terry Gould, organ; Neil Simon, trumpet, and Karen Melancon, vocals, provided the music for the ceremony. Readings were given by Erika Trahan, cousin of the groom, and Maurice Hauser, sister of the groom.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Veteran's Memorial. The couple will spend their honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and plan to reside in DeRidder upon their return.
