Johnson-Manly Wedding Vows In LDS Church

Mrs. Wilma Jaye [sic Faye] Johnson of 1920 J street, Eureka, became the bride of Robert Manly of Bunker Avenue, Eureka, on February 18 with President Richard Miller of the Latter Day Saints church officiating at the double-ring service, held in the LDS church in this city.

Attendants were Harold Hunt and Mrs. Mildred Rose of Arcata and Eureka, respectively.

The bride wore a beige suit with pearlized beige accessories and had a white orchid corsage with an orange, green and beige flowered hat. Mrs. Rose wore a rose-colored suit with navy accessories and a carnation corsage.

A reception was held following the wedding at the new home of the newlyweds on Gibson avenue. The matron of honor presided at the guest book and Mrs. Ben Johnson assisted at the gift table. Mrs. Ralph Johnson and Mrs. Bea Tout served the cake, punch and coffee.

The couple went on a wedding trip to Southern California. The groom is credit manager for Eureka Boiler Works.

Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson from San Rafael, sons and families of the bride.
