Julia Bess Nowell Wed In Louisiana

Miss Julia Bess Nowell, formerly of Big Spring, and A. O. Gaar of Ocean Springs, Miss., were married in New Orleans Saturday, according to an announcement by the bride's sister, Mrs. Sam Lawhorn, of San Angelo, with whom the bride had been making her home.

Mrs. Gaar, a daughter of the late C. H. Nowell, graduated from the Big Spring High School in 1927. She then went to San Angelo to live with her sister and brother and was employed by the Sawyer Cattle Company of that city.

The groom is the son of Mrs. J. A. Gaar of Jonesboro, La., and a graduate of the Louisiana State College. During the past summer, he was employed by the Texas Public Service Co. in San Angelo. At present he is teaching science and is the football coach of the Oceans Springs, La. High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Gaar are making their home at the French Hotel in Ocean Springs.
