House-Poole

In a quiet ceremony Saturday evening with Rev. J. O. McNair officiating, Miss Alpha Poole and Mr. O. C. House were united in marriage. The wedding took place in Jonesville, at the Baptist Church. The attendants were the bride's sister, Miss Mae Poole, and the groom's brother, Mr. Ed House.

The bride was lovely in a becoming two peice [sic two-piece] white eyelet suit, with blue and white accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations.

The young couple spent a few days in Winnfield, and have returned to make their home in Ferriday.

Out of town guests were: Mr. House's sister, Miss Ruth House of Winnfield, Mr. Harold Boliver of Shreveport and Mr. Burl Poole of Monroe. Friends of the young couple from Ferriday aslo [sic also] attended.
