DELONEY -- RILEY

At the First Baptist Church, on Wednesday, Nov. 21, Mr. Isaac C. Deloney and Miss Maude Riley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Riley, of this place, were united in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. D. P. Lee, pastor, officiating. The church was beautifully decorated and the ceremony interesting and impressive.

Miss Ella Riley, sister of the bride, attended by Miss Annie Wilcox, was maid of honor, while the groom was attended by his brother, Mr. Allen Deloney, of Tuscumbia. The ushers were Dr. George W. Randall, Messrs. Frank E. Carlton, Jr., M. C. Davie and C. J. Johnson. Music for the occasion was rendered by Mr. J. W. Wallwork, with vocal accompaniments by Mrs. S. J. Morgan, Miss Wolf of Birmingham and Mrs. Randle of Piper.

Many handsome and valuable presents were received by the young couple in token of the high esteem in which they are held.

Mr. and Mrs. Deloney left immediately for New Orleans and other points on the gulf coast, and expect to return in about ten days.

Among those who attended the ceremony from other places were Mrs. Sam Heindman of Tuscumbia, Mr. Allen Deloney of Tuscumbia, Miss Wolf of Birmingham, Miss Hinton of Tuskaloosa, Mrs. Randle, Mrs. James Wilcox and Miss Annie Wilcox of Piper, Mr. E. D. Neill of Johns, Mrs. and Mrs. George Archer and Mr. and Mrs. Cox of Hargrove, Mrs. Thomas of Belle Ellen, Dr. and Mrs. Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. James T. Greene of Lucile, Miss Beulah Blacklock of Kellerman.
