Burns J. Grivet Claims Bride In Southern Rites

Of interest in August nuptial news is the marriage of Burns J. Grivet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Grivet of Roosevelt, who pledged vows August 17 in Mississippi, with Miss Glenda Sue Ross. Parents of the new bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ross of Wainsborrough [sic Winnsboro], Louisiana.

After honeymooning in Alabama, the newlyweds will return to Alexandria, Louisiana, where the bridegroom is stationed at the England Air Force base as an A2C.

The new Mrs. Grivet is a high school graduate.

Mr. Grivet joined th Air Corps two years ago, receiving his basic training at Parks Air Force Base in Alexandria. From there he went to Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois and then to French Morocco in North Africa, where he was engaged in a twelve-month tour of duty. He returned in February and in March went to Alexandria, where he is still stationed.
