Sherman-Glover Wedding Vows To Be Solemnized January 28
Mrs. Dortha Jean Sherman announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Nancy Louise, to John Ervin Glover, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Glover, Sr. of Ellisville. Miss Sherman is also the daughter of W. C. Sherman of Ellisville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Clark A. Sherman and the late Mrs. Nancy Sherman of Ellisville and Mrs. Lottie Upton of Laurel and Vernon F. Hilbun of Lucedale.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Glover of Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Kitchens of Ellisville.
Miss Sherman is a 1970 graduate of R. H. Watkins High School, where she was an honor role student and a member of such clubs and organizations as Allied Youth, Forensics, National Honor Society, Pep Club, FTA and Safety Council.
The bride-elect was graduated from Jones County Junior College was an AA degree in August of 1971. Presently she is a junior at the University of Mississippi where she is in the School of Pharmacy and a member of the Student American Pharmaceutical Association.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1966 graduate of South Jones High School. He was graduated with an AA degree from Jones County Junior College in 1968. He is presently employed by Ingalls Nuclear Shipbuilding in Pascagoula.
The candlelight ceremony will be solemnized January 28, 7:30 p.m. at Second Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Joel C. Murphy, pastor, officiating.
Friends and relatives are invited through the medium of the Leader-Call to attend the wedding and also the reception immediately following the ceremony.
