Root-Podd Nuptials Are Exchanged Here

Of widespread interest is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Maralliese Podd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Knapp of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bert C. Root, Jr., son of Mrs. Charlotte Root and the late Mr. Bert C. Root of Old Mission Farm, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

The wedding was an event of Thursday, Sept. 8, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Presbyterian study. The double ring nuptials were performed by the Rev. W. H. McFadden.

Following a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Ark., the couple will make their home in this city.
