Newlyweds Feted At Informal Reception

The Letha Saunders YWA of the Trinity Baptist church honored Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lofton, newlyweds, with an informal postnuptial reception at the home of Miss Viola Warlick on Ashland drive in Griffing park. Mrs. Lofton was the former Elsie Skiles.

Appointments reflected the YWA colors of green and white. Misses Jewell Paul, Nura Smith and Maxine Jordan had charge of the guest book.

Presiding over the prettily decorated refreshment board were Misses Juanita Duke, Mary Ann Edmonston, Mary Anders and Edna Jane Culpepper and Mesdames A. L. Bolyard and C. R. Bolyard. Others in the house party were Misses Ruth Goss, Ina Eaves, Fern Smith, Marjorie Welch, Dorothy Culpepper, Laverne Bradley, Gloria Whittington and Jessie Sain and Mesdames W. I. Whaley, C. J. Suell, G. T. Warlick, W. F. Reid and E. L. Skiles.

Approximately 75 guests called during the hours of receiving from 6 to 9 o'clock.
