Miss Termin Becomes Bride of Ben Willis
Miss Billie Jo Termin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Termin, 6018 Goliad, and Ben Edward Willis were married in the Central Congressional Church Saturday night. The Rev. Arthur G. Scartz was officiant. Bob Scoggin and Dick McCree presented music.
Mr. Termin gave his daughter in marriage. The bride's white satin gown had an oval neckline outlined by accordion pleated Chantilly lace. Her fingertip illusion veil was attached to a tiara of seed pearls. The bride's Bible was topped with a white orchid and showered with lilacs of the valley and white streamers.
Mrs. Richard A. Fremming was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Burns Ashley of Mansfield, Mrs. Randy C. Copeland and Mrs. Edward P. Edney Jr., and Miss Lucy Anne Hogan. Toni Jean Calhoun was flower girl and Tommy Termin, ring bearer.
Mr. Willis is the son of Ben D. Willis, 4422 Holland, and the late Mrs. Willis. His attendants were his father, best man; Mr. Fremming, Mr. Copeland, Robert Duff of Muskogee, Okla., and Robert B. Miller Jr., Fort Worth.
Miss Bobbie Jo Looney, Mrs. Ray Hale, Mrs. Donald R. Taylor and Mrs. John Wood were in the reception house party in the church parlor.
Mr. and Mrs. Willis will live in Houma, La., after a wedding trip to New Orleans and other Louisiana cities. The bride attended North Texas State College where she belonged to the Green Jackets. Her husband is a former Texas Technological student and a member of Silver Key. He was a Tech cheerleader.
