1/18/2004 Thigpen/Crabtree engagement

W. Levon and Jamie Thigpen of Dallas announce the engagement of their daughter JaeAyne Levon Thigpen to Fred Clarence Crabtree, Jr. of Stephenville. He is the son of Steve and Donna Holifield of Lott and Fred Crabtree, Sr. of Corsicana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Martha Parker of Corsicana and Gertrude Thigpen of DeRidder, La. She is a 1994 graduate of First Baptist Academy of Dallas and received a bachelor of business administration from Tarleton State University in December of 1997. She is currently employed at the Erath County District Attorney's office as the legal assistant.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Annis Allison and Arthur and Billie Johnson, all of Waco. He is a1996 graduate of Chilton High School. He is currently working for Easter Air, serves in the Texas Army National Guard as a radar technician and is the youth minister at First Baptist Church of Golinda.

A private wedding ceremony is planned for Feb. 28, 2004 aboard the ``Celebration'' Cruise Ship in Galveston.
