MARRIED.

WAINWRIGHT--THOMPSON -- At Pollock, La., on Sunday, August 20, 1916, at 3 o'clock p. m., Mr. Irving Wainwright to Miss Lucille Thompson, Justice of the Peace C. U. Robinson, officiating.

The marriage was a very private affair, and came as a surprise to the friends of the contracting parties. The couple had attended church near Fishville, and after services motored over to Pollock where they were quickly united for life.

The groom is a son of the late Irving Wainwright, of Pollock, and is a thrifty and prosperous young man. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Thompson, and is one of the fairest and most attractive daughters of Grant parish. By her sweet and gentle manner she has won the love and esteem of all who know her. -- Town Talk.
