ORANGE, Nov. 12. -- A wedding of interest to friends here and elsewhere was the marriage of Claire Theresa Ulm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Peter Ulm, Sr., of Orange, to Joel J. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a gown of white satin. Her fitted bodice was joined to a full skirt and the marquisette yoke formed a sweetheart neckline from which satin covered buttons extended down the center of the bodice to the skirt. From her tiara of seed pearls and orange blossoms fell the floor length veil of illusion. She carried a shower bouquet of gardenias on a prayer book of mother-of-pearl.
Mrs. Bennie F. Fore, Jr., sister of the bride and matron of honor, wore a princess cut frock of aqua taffeta with three-quarter length sleeves, and small covered buttons extended down the center of the basque waist to the point where the full bouffant skirt joined. She wore a matching half hat tipped on each side with Cavalier roses and carried an arm bouquet of Cavalier roses.
Best man was Louis P. Ulm, Jr., brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the home of the bride's parents, 1311 Orange avenue. Amid the decorations of white roses on the lace covered table was a three tiered wedding cake topped with miniature bride and groom. Hildegarde Ulm presided at the guest book.
Immediately after the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Rolen departed on a wedding trip to points in Louisiana. They will be at home at 1121 Eighth street after November 19. The bride's costume for the trip was an attractive wool suit of baby pink with brown accessories and a gardenia corsage.
