White, Weltlich

Sharon Lynn White and Stephen Kent Weltlich were united in marriage during an evening ceremony July 2 at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Gary L. Carver of First Baptist Church, Chattanooga, Tenn., officiated, assisted by Monsignor Donald Kiernan of All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody, Ga.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Keyes White, Tuscumbia. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gilbert McCarty, Stringer, Miss., and Mrs. William Cleo White and the late Mr. White, Taylorsville, Miss.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Julius Weltlich, Dunwoody. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry William Goedel, Anna Marie Weltlich and the late Emil Francis Weltlich, all of St. Louis, Mo.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Honor attendants were the bride's sisters, Pamela Joyce White, Augusta, Ga., and Belinda White Carmichael, Nashville, Tenn.

Other bridal attendants were Julie Weltlich, Atlanta, sister of the groom, Cara Crosslin, Tuscumbia, Paige Bordon Gray, Florence, Shannon Shoemaker Morton, Birmingham, Karen Keating, Charlotte, N.C., Susan Pahl, Dunwoody, Angie Neclerio and Stephanie Harris, both of Atlanta.

Best man was the groom's father.

Groomsmen were Mark Weltlich, Dunwoody, brother of the groom, Larry Carmichael, Nashville, brother-in-law of the bride, Tom Wright, Brady Knight, Jim Hudson, all of Atlanta, David Pahl, Steve Crane, both of Dunwoody, Jamie Crosby, Little Rock, Ark., and Drew Miller, Dallas, Texas.

A reception followed at Dunwoody Country Club.

After a wedding trip to the Hawaiian islands of Kauai and Maui, the newlyweds will reside in Dunwoody.
