Caughron-Wiley Ceremony Is Held In Local Chapel
VOWS WERE SOLEMNIZED in the chapel of Crown Heights Christian church at 7:30 p.m. Friday for Miss June Wiley and John Randel Caughron. Rev. J. Clyde Wheeler performed the ceremony before members of the couple's families.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn B. Wiley, 1628 NW 44. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Jack R. Caughron, 2531 NW 67.
David Witt was organist and Mrs. E. A. Allen soloist. She sang ``The Lord's Prayer.'' Palms, baskets of white gladioli and white candles decorated the chapel.
GIVEN IN MARRIAGE BY HER FATHER, the bride selected a ballerina-length dress of white pique with short sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. She wore a Juliet cap with short circular veil and carried a semi-colonial bouquet of white daisies.
Maid of honor was Miss Saramay Wiley, 1801 NW 38, a cousin of the bride. She wore a ballerina-length dress of pale pink dotted swiss marquisette and carried a semi-colonial bouquet of pink carnations.
Page Dobson attended the bridegroom as best man.
A reception for friends of the couple was held at 8:30 p.m. at the Redbud tearoom. Assisting were Miss Donna Lou Ellis, Houston, Texas; Miss Marilyn Freideman, Tulsa; Miss Vonda Bivert, Stillwater; and Miss Sandra Chiles.
The couple will reside at 2008 1/2 N Kelley.
