"Teaching College Physics at the Trumbull Campus"

Abstract
Almost all of my College Physics students take the course only
because their major requires it. Their primary motivation is to check
College Physics off their things-I-have-to-do-to-graduate list. The
traditional lecture method of teaching physics is particularly
ineffective under these circumstances. I will discuss the two
significant changes I have made in my teaching - taking a more
active approach and increasing my use of computers - to address
the problem.
