KSU Physics PhD Alumnus Joe Whitehead

Our Alumnus Dr. Joe B. Whitehead, Jr. was honored with the New Millennium Alumni Award from Kent State University. Dr. Whitehead received his PhD at Kent in 1989, and currently is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Southern Mississippi, where he continues to pursue research in the area of Liquid Crystal physics.
