Addison-Wesley
Award in Physics:
This award is presented to the physics major who, during the year of
the award, graduates with the highest scholastic average in physics.
The awards consists of a certificate, prepared and presented by Kent
State University at its annual Honors Day, and the commemorative hardcover
edition of the Feynman
Lectures on Physics presented by
Addison Wesley Longman. This three-volume set, by Nobel Laureate
Richard Feynman, is valued
at approximately $120.
John Wiley Award
in Physics:
This award is presented to the student who, during the year of the award,
achieves the most outstanding performance in the General University
Physics sequence. This award consists of a certificate and approximately
$250 worth of books presented by John
