Electromagnetic signals bring forth dynamical information on the
collective nature of the strong interactions governing the
evolution of high-energy heavy-ion collisions.
We discuss recent developments for thermal photon
production in hadronic matter and flow
buildup which provide
useful guidance to forthcoming experiments at RHIC.
Charm can probe the system differently,
yet ultimately allows interpretation regarding
quark matter effects versus
hadronic influences.
J/$\psi$ propagation in hadronic matter is discussed in the context of its
suppression as a
QGP diagnostic.
