*Records for his birthdate are somewhat inconsist. His tombstone and obituary are consistent with him being born in DEC 1878. However, his 1900 census record gives his birthdate as DEC 1880 and his WWI draft registration gives his birthdate as 7 DEC 1877. He was listed as age 6 months in the 1880 census, which is consistent with him being born in DEC 1879.
