*A Land Patent was issued to Jesse GOODMAN of Bradley County, AR on 1 NOV 1852 (below link). Either it was issued two years after his death or he died in 1852, the year before his wife married again. His death is not in the 1850 Mortality Index and it is possible that its date on his (modern) tombstone is wrong.

**Virginia Witherington gave Alexander COOPER's birthdate as 21 MAR 1871 in her book Lee Family History. However, he was reported in the 1870 census for Bradley County, AR, age 1. She further noted that Alex took ill and died about the age of 21 while in Millville, AR, never having married. She wrote that he was buried in Salem Cemetery near Bearden, Ouachita Co., AR.
