*Ollie May's tombstone reportedly gives her date of birth as 4 AUG 1896 and her date of death as 7 MAY 1923. The 1900 census gives her date of birth as MAY 1894, and the LA Death Index lists her date of death as 17 APR 1923. The LA death index also gives her age at the time of death as 28 years, which implies that she was born in 1894 if her month of birth was either May or August.
