Input modes within EOSGX

 

The EOSGX input modes determine the method of input for the particle kinematics and species information. This forms the simulated physics event input for the GEANT part of the simulation. There are six input modes, ONE, MANY, INTG, FILE, DATA, and PRTS. A given input mode is selected with the command INPUT_MODE, for example

INPUT_MODE FILE

sets the input mode to FILE.

Each input mode is accessible to any of the run modes of the program (see Section 2.2 for a description of the run modes), except the DATA input mode. DATA input mode is the only possible choice for the DATA run mode. The DATA input mode can also be used in NORM run mode, but not in the simulated data modes DSIM or FSIM.
