Kent State's Pre-Engineering Program offers an attractive option for students interested in earning a degree in any field of Engineering. Pre-Engineers typically follow a two-year curriculum that is very close to what is taken by students who intend to major in one of the areas of Physical Science. After two years (or possibly sooner), Pre-Engineers in good academic standing are eligible to apply for acceptance at an Engineering School of their own choosing. A student who enrolls in our Pre-Engineering Program can graduate at the same time as a student who goes directly to an Engineering School.
